  • The age group with the most dating app and site usage falls between 19 and 29 years old, followed by those aged 30 to 49 at 37%. Of those who are between 50 and 64 years old, 20% use online dating resources and 13% of people aged 65 and older use online dating sites or apps.
  • In terms of education, 37% of those with some college have ever used an online dating service, with those with higher college degrees at 32%. People with high school or less education account for 23% of online dating services.
  • Heterosexual users account for 28% compared to 51% of those in the LGB communities. 
  • Moreover, 36% of people using online dating services live in Urban areas of the United States, 31% Suburban areas, and 25% in Rural areas.
  • Mind you, this is in the United States alone.

One study revealed that around 20% of Tinder users are in committed relationships and 30% of those in the study said they are married.
